7 things to be aware of if you are considering purchasing ShareGate.
1. Although it is sometimes referred to as a subscription, your ShareGate license is NOT automatically renewed Your license will only run for the agreed license term, which is either 1, 2 or 3 years. You should get a reminder close to your expiry date, but please be aware that you will have to renew by purchasing a new license. 2. ShareGate, a new name for ShareGate Productivity If you have previously looked at ShareGate Productivity, please be aware that there has been a name change. ShareGate is the new name for ShareGate Productivity. 3. Users and Activations ShareGate is licensed based on the number of activations needed. So, a 5 activation ShareGate license will cover you for up to 5 software activations of the Migration tool. The license options are 1 Activation, Up to 5 Activations or Up to 25 Activations. Using the Teams management module does not count towards your license activations. 4. You can transfer your activation to a new computer or user. Always check the End User license and Maintenance Agreement Make sure that you are licensing your software correctly, always check the terms https://sharegate.com/terms. 6.
