Why apply workflows and forms?
On a day-to-day basis, all kinds of information needs be gathered in an organisation. This might include holiday requests, absence forms and stock requests using a mixture of Word documents, Excel Spreadsheets and other paper based forms to collect this information, leaving  you with lack of control.  Applying effective processes using either Microsoft Forms Server (an element of SharePoint) or InfoPath may be the solution.
