SDPS: A Microsoft Software Assurance Benefit
Overview
Microsoft created a scheme called SDPS to assist organisations to deploy their SharePoint solutions. Simply put, Microsoft will fund the expertise required to deploy or enhance a SharePoint system correctly. ISC is among the select group of partners qualified to deliver SDPS in the UK and Ireland.
Introduction to SDPS
SDPS stands for SharePoint Deployment Planning Services. It uses tried and tested methodology to plan a SharePoint project. To be entitled for SDPS you must have Software Assurance (SA) as part of your Microsoft licensing agreement. Depending on your agreement you may be entitled to a 1, 3, 5, 10 or 15 day engagement with SDPS vouchers.

By redeeming your SDPS benefits, you will learn from ISC how the key capabilities of SharePoint can be applied to your organisation to improve efficiencies and productivity, all based on your specific goals and requirements.
ISC will also explain how we worked with other clients to deliver successful solutions.
Why is Microsoft funding this consulting?
SharePoint is a product with a vast array of features that requires specialist skills to implement properly. Microsoft are aware that most organisations would not have these skills in house. To ensure SharePoint is deployed correctly and increase satisfaction amongst its clients, Microsoft created SDPS.
